| hey, a month ago in internet was found information that in 27th Juny in Riga will be Linkin Park concert. in first days there were sold already about 2000 tickets. there were no any advertisiment. nowhere, only in internet and e-mails. before Korn visiting us at 11th February there were adverts on tv and radio for maybe 6 months. so yesterday in news this firm that invited here Linkin Park said that concert is cancelled. this firm has been created only 3 months ago. president of this firm said that they called to Linkin Park manager and talked about making concert here, Linkin Park accepted that. and some days ago president of that firm said that manager of Linkin Park called and said something like: "sorry dudes, concert is cancelled" and thats all. by now there are sold about 5000 tickets and noone knows if money will be given back to these who bought tickets. so many people said shortly after this new in internet about concert that this is just cheating. it seemed like this. so all i wanted to know is if its really so easy to cheat everyone? it is like, today i make company that makes concerts, offer stadium where concert will be and tell everyone that there will be Linkin Park. make 20 000 copies of self-made tickets and give them to sell? is it all? i dont believe, there should be acception from goverment and so on. so how 3 months old company can cheat whole country like this?

| That is such a stupid thing, they just rip everyone off like that... How can they get away with that when the band supposovely called and said they cant make it after months of advertisement? There has got to be some legel issues wrong with that! | |

| so thats what i am talking about. is it so easy to make some company, tell everyone that you invited group like LP and all? i dont believe it. how could it work? and damn, iwould never believe that LP would trust to firm that works only 3 months. if this firm payed to goverment to turn back, wheres the gain? | |

| Well, I dunno. Everyone is allowed to start a firm and I have no clue how the tickets sales working. But I also know that you wouldn't get away with it so easily in germany. But in..öh, which country was that? (I always mix the countries and towns ther, stupid me -.-). Well, I don't know how your laws are there working. However it's a big lie and pretty mean to earn money with it. But I also trust LP that they really confirmed that concert and now think about it different. I mean, they're LP, they can't play any concerts punctual. And a band which is at least 20 minutes too late on stage every concerts can also say after months of advertisment "oh, show is cancelled, because Chester hates Riga!" I hope those people get their money back. What says EU about it? | |

| well, LP is pretty known band in world. and not every country has their concerts..so people just heard it, that LP will be in Riga, and seems thought "wow, LP here, I must go to their concert!". and that firm, which "invited" LP, is latvian one, so why people shouldn't believe it? and seems gain is to see confused, sad and angry people faces when they heard that there will be no concert.. | |

| well, i agree with you Mon, but anyway... i dont think that it is worth to spend so much time and funds on making firm just to look later how people are sad. they are loosers anyway. | |

| Maybe they just thought they would get away. with it somehow. People are strange sometimes. And there is still the possibility that they really invited LP and they just said "no" later. | |

| well, if they went so far that they made firm and invited LP, then i dont think that they are so stupid to see gain there. it is absolutely wrong. and if LP, the band that at the moment is on highest wave and is practically one of best and most known bands in world would be really invited... adverts here would be since april of last year, and damn, tickets are selling but adverds noone has seen. something there is strange... | |

| Well, don't put LP higher then they are. Their new music is shit, they're the worst sell-outs since they made their own label, the band splitted halfway, Chester is their dictator and 50% of the band became assholes.
So yeah, I trust that LP cancelled the gig without any reson and before someone made ad. And maybe the firm saw no reason to advertise it.
will there a trial against the firm founders?

| well, i disagree with you... they still is the band that is one of the most loved around the world. Chester is not dictator at all and they are still awesome and good together. Chester becomes a little bit like Serj in SOAD, so it all is just better.
yeah, there are very many who wants to see that firm burning. but nothing happens, noone knows these guys, there is only this president of firm who propably is just use-doll in all that mess.

| well, so the money's gone?
Because then it's easy to know what the gain was. Well, let's argue about LP somewhere else some different time

| well, still noone can get money back, but president said that money will be given back to each one who bought it. so i think they wont give money back... because if they would, there would be no gain. time will show. | |

| Maybe they just get too early spied out, you know. They wanted more and more money and waited for the right moment to dissapear and failed. But I still wonder -as you ask in the first post- why it was so easy for them. I mean, doesn't they need anything which allows them to sell tickets? | |

| so thats what about i am wondering... i dont believe that its so easy to make firm, tell everybody that you invited LP, make 20 000 of copies of tickets and make money and sidappear. there should be something more, and more legal. | |
